…a second spanner.
From the parts bin in the workshop I cut some bits of 6mm chequer plate and a scrap of tube for a handle.
It was all welded together with a Cebora 130 MIG welder.
Compared to the shop bought spanner it is kinda ugly but very functional.
It worked too!
