Shopping is for dogs…

Harriet has returned and is pushing her bicycle into the workshop. There is a bag of ‘Wonder Doggo, dry food for hungry dogs’ dog food in the bicycle basket, a dog food bowl, and a red lead.

Well, I keep on trying to get started on this project for @ScienceGirlCan and it just isn’t happening.
I have to pick up the dog from the vet’s tomorrow and I need ‘dog stuff’!
Best get that today while some shops are open.

Harriet is in her workshop, leaning on the sheet of plywood and looking fed up.
This is getting me nowhere…

Best get out there then.
Brompton, check.
Hi-viz, check.
Helmet, check.
Bike basket, check.

Harriet is wearing a hi-vis waist coat and cycling helmet. She is wheeling her Brompton folding bicycle out of the workshop door. The bicycle has a basket on the front.
Time to hit the road…

I got dog food! This bag of dry food wasn’t too expensive.
Got a food bowl and a nice red lead.
What else do I need?

Oh yeah, dog water bowls!
And a dog bed!

That wasn’t so bad….

Right, out again back to the shops!

Harriet is pushing her bicycle back out of the workshop. She is wearing hi-vis and her bicycle helmet. The bag of dog food, bowl and lead are on the plywood board with her tools.
And here we go again…

Dog bed? Who are they kidding? It is just a flat bean bag!
But I got a couple of water bowls.

Harriet is pushing her bicycle back into the workshop again. There are dog bowls in the basket and a folded dog bed on the basket.
I need a bigger basket!

So, that’s another load of money spent, on top of the vet’s bill!
And I still haven’t told the Landlord yet…

Harriet has all the pet shop purchases laid out on the plywood board. There is a dog bed, black underneath and light brown with white spots on top, two stainless steel water bowls, a brown ceramic food bowl, the bag of ‘Wonder Doggo’ dry food, and a red lead.
Good thing the rent’s cheap here…

So how much of this stuff do I give a dog?
‘One scoop for a medium dog.’
Well, how big is a scoop and what size is a medium dog then!
Also, how many times a day?
You’d better appreciate this, ‘Doggo’!

Harriet is holding up the bag of dog food and reading the instructions on the back of the bag.
So much small print!
