Phone call!

Righto, so back in the workshop.
I have a little commission to build for @ScienceGirlCan.
A sheet of birch ply arrived today so I can get on with doing a layout and cutting it up. No design as such so I am going to ‘wing it’ to fit her measurements.

Harriet is in her workshop. There is a sheet of 8x4 plywood board resting on two saw horses. Harriet has her pencil, tape measure, try square, and circular saw on the board. Harriet is deciding where to start with the design.
Hmmm…. Now where shall I start…?

(dring dring dring, dring dring dring)
Hang on, phone!

“Hello, Harriet Board.

Yes, that was me.

No, it’s not my dog, I found it.…

I see….

Oh, ok.

I guess so…

Sorry, how much!!!

Oh crumbs!

Right, well if there is no one else….

Right, I suppose I’d better come over then.…

Ok.

Bye.”

Argg, who’s calling now?

Sorry, I’ll have to leave for a bit.
That was the Vet’s on the phone. Apparently no one knows the dog, and the poor thing needs some repairs doing. And as I brought it in I need to go and be responsible for it.

Ah well…
Back in a bit, hopefully.

Harriet is walking out of the workshop door. She has turned off the lights and is holding the bit of rope she used as a dog lead.
Ho hum, back to the Vet’s…
