…by hand is hard work, and leaves me with achy fingers.
Unfortunately I don’t have a set of forming rollers in the workshop, yet, or a sheet metal brake. It is all stuff I would like to invest in but there isn’t quite enough work to justify it.
This job requires 40mm x 2mm galvanised steel to be bent around the perimeter of a plywood core. As there are only four bends I will persist with hand bending.
I don’t mind that too much but I am not looking forward to the messy glue up that follows.
It should all work out ok in the end though.
